My run as a roleplayer started with Redwall Legacies. That site crashed and burned practically overnight, unfortunately. Even worse, the spin-off site, Martin's Legacy, never really took off like its predecessor, and, after a slow and agonizing three years, ML came to an end.
Sounds depressing, I know, but there is a bright side to this. See, even though this site has died, its writers haven't. . . Well, as far as I know, anyway. . . Whatever. Point is, there is a way to catch up with some of us. Griffith, the former administrator of Redwall Legacies, has left his information in the Cbox. Hopefully, it won't be drowned in spam by the time you read this.
As for me, I am still an avid writer, and you can follow me on various roleplaying sites. Well, like two, but still. I really can't tear myself away from roleplaying in Brian Jacques' masterpiece of a world. And my writing is only getting better.
So, here's the thing. If you want to find a good, active Redwall roleplay, click this: cometolora.proboards.com
When you get there, you'll find a bunch of true Redwall fans, some excellent writers, and possibly the friendliest people anywhere. On that site, named Legends of Redwall Abbey, I go by T-Bone.
I can also be found on another site, called Earth 2. Although it isn't Redwall-based, it is close enough to it that I enjoy it. Click this link: earthtales.proboards.com
That site was created by me and my good friend Jan, who happens to be an active writer on LoRA as well. As of now, E2 is just getting started, but I expect it will grow once we start advertising and affiliating. I'm the one named Skipper, which, incidentally, happens to be my actual name.
If you want to contact me, just shoot me a pm on either one of those sites.
Well, that's about it. I do hope that you haven't given up on the ROC just yet. We're holding on, even if only by a little bit. And if the ROC does fade, then I promise it will be replaced by something just as great. Brian Jacques inspired more writers than we realize. We're just getting started.
God bless!
