Position and Home: Brant was a wandering warrior who has now settled down at Holt Seaslate and has a job as a warrior and messenger running packages all around the Strait and the Eastern Sea border.

Endurance
Brant is a very strong and well built otter and from his times of travel and training, Brant has built up a powerful endurance. He can withstand many different extremes of weather, and has learned to save his strength for long periods of time. His endurance also makes him a powerful sword-fighter who can withstand many a blow before he is forced to back down.
Clever
Brant is a fairly smart otter. He has a fair amount of brain to go along with his fair amount of brawn. Although Brant openly admits that there are many creatures with more knowledge and teaching, he has a lot of "street smarts". He can read all right, and his writing could use some touch ups, but where he lack the formal education he makes up for with common sense, logic, survival knowledge, and sword-fighting. Brant may have to take a second to figure out a complicated problem, but the solution he comes up with will be a surefire plan.
Dependable
Brant is a very helpful and loyal otter. He is one of the type of creatures that if he says he's going to do something, he is going to do it, no matter how long it takes him. This dependability aids Brant in his work. Creatures depend on him to get their messages and packages safely to their destination, and Brant takes pride in the fact and has never not delivered a package in the quickest time possible. No matter what weather, or interference may come across his path, if Brant is on the job, then your message will be delivered safely to its intended destination.

Brant is a rather straight forward and candid otter. He is not the creature to put things delicately. He doesn't really see the point in fluffing something up if it's just going to hurt later anyways. Why not say what you are going to say and get it over with? Brant dislikes when somebeast who is talking with him starts to "beat around the bush". Brant prefers that beast just get straight to the point, and if they didn't have a point, then why did they open their lips to talk? Brant doesn't mean to be rude, he just wants the truth and believes that other creatures deserve the truth. Yes, the truth does hurt sometimes, but it's the truth. Lies hurt worse.
Itchy Paws
Brant is often subject to "itchy paws". He is a wanderer, he wants to be moving, going somewhere. That was the main reason why he left his home in the first place. Brant felt like it was time to go. He had stayed to long and there was somewhere else out there for him. Brant felt like that through his entire travels until he got to Holt Seaslate. At the Holt, he felt content and settled down. Every now and then Brant gets that "itchy paws" feeling, but his job as a messenger helps calm the feeling down. He gets to travel from the Holt to the Wildnes, the Strait, down the Stone Path, or even a bit into Mossflower Wood. The traveling during his job makes him feel better and allows him to come back home content. If he doesn't get to travel, Brant becomes a bit agitated and begins pacing a lot.
Alignment: Good
Appearance: Brant is tall and handsome otter. He stands about a pawlength taller than the average otter and about as muscular as the average warrior with not a lot of extra "insulation" as he calls it. He's not the biggest otter by far in the Holt, but he can hold his own in a fight. Brant large paws can also contribute to that fact. They are not too large for his body, but they are fairly big.
A dark mahogany fur completely covers Brant's body. He has no other underbelly color like some of his species, but is the same color all the way around. Brant's fur is also fairly thick and a bit crusty around the edges.
Brant's eyes are a dark blue....
