Through Windows is an RP based on the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. After the events of The Amber Spyglass, the world we saw through Lyra's eyes is in disarray. The Magisterium has begun to lose its power and land, and is using its military to hold on desperately to what it has left: western Europe. Even here, though, underground forces work to collapse the tyrannical theocracy once and for all.
The brightest minds the Magisterium can find manage to replicate the work of a one Lord Asriel: they manage to open a new window to another world through the Aurora. Hoping to use this new technology to establish themselves in another world, they open several more windows. However, they only manage to cut into one world.

As the resistance movement struggles to keep the Magisterium away from the windows, some people, ordinary people, begin noticing openings in the air. Though the first reactions always differ, the end result is always the same. Sooner or later, these people find themselves breathing the air of another world...
