History- Born in a village far to the east past the great mountains, Nodrah started his life in happiness and love. But his family was poor and each year it became increasingly harder and harder for his father to feed them all. So with a very teary eyes and a heavy heart Yusagi and Mitah put Nodrah at the tender age of seven into a monastery, giving him the opportunity to become a monk, and receive a better way of life then either his father or his mother could hope to dream of. Nodrah excelled as a monk rising rapidly in the ranks under the stern tutelage of his master Shujinko Lao one of the most powerful Yamabushi alive. His heart was not without trouble and despite the solemn rule that monks are never allowed to have a wife he yearned every day for the love of Kitana Kira a girl from back in his village. His every thought dwelled on her and despite his master’s warnings about unrational thoughts and actions he left the monastery and fled many miles to his home village. He burst into his parent’s old hovel and found nothing, as the place had been cleaned. He inquired to the surrounding neighbors and found that a winter ago a great pledge had struck the village and many people died his parents and love included. He returned to the monastery a broken animal. If it was not for the unsympathetic, unyielding hand of his master he might have given up the will to live. But he did not and poured all his soul into his own self improvement and what came out was a beast of honor, patience, tranquility, and virtue a true Yamabushi. On his deathbed at the tender age of one hundred and four Shujinko Lao ordered Nodrah to his bedside. He told him he was no longer welcome with the other monks or in the monastery and told him “I tell you this as I would my own son, Go out and seek your true purpose in life for what good is the light from a candle if it is hidden from the darkness.” And with that he closed his eyes and died. Nodrah left that day and journeyed for many years forever westward toward the setting sun and his unknown destiny.
