Appearance- Argyle is tall and muscular Hare with broad shoulders and a wide barrel chest. Soft Snow white fur with muddled Black patches covers his buff frame, with a rather large Black patch landing square over his right eye and ear. His eyes are an electric sparkling green, offset by the blacks of his pupils, and whites of his eyes. He carries a thick burly frame, with powerful ropes of muscle under his downy fur. His legs are solid and muscled both capable of tremendous leaps should he desire it. He wears teal colored Brigantine doublet over a chain mail hauberk, spiked steel bracers over his forearms, black breeches and steel codpiece. Both swords are sheathed to his black leather belt in wonderfully ornate and bejewled scabbards depicting hares in battle.
Personality- Argyle is a consummate optimist to his core, never losing heart even in the most hopeless of circumstances. He approaches life with a wide smile and hearty laugh, infecting all other beasts around him with his mirth. He however is a true warrior and when the situation dictates becomes deathly serious, but never for long. He prides himself on competition and self improvement and to this end he has become a great sword-beast. He has deep respect for those who fight for what is good and will aid any good beast he comes across. He however carries no love for any of the vermin races, fighting their evil with every waking breath and all of his strength, carrying the fight to their doorstep. He has a huge stubborn streak and this has caused him many years of undue grief and until he recognizes it for what it is he will never change it in himself. Few things truly scare him, save the deaths of his friends and family by his enemies, and to this end his attempts to shield them by being over protective. This has caused a rift between him and his family that grows ever larger with each passing year.

• Is almost unequaled in sword play
• Is strong and very agile
• Possesses great strength of will and personal courage
• He is very sociable and gets along well with others.
Character Weaknesses:
• He is brash and stubborn
• He tends to over protective his friends and denies himself the teamwork that could come from believing in the skill of others.
• He only a rudimentary skill in ranged weaponry and other kinds of weapons

Siblings- (Sisters) Malmuria, Machara, and Gavinia (Brothers) Achaius, Padruig, and Bailoch
Other Relationships- Sima Bontien (Crush from back home)
History- Born in a small village of Adair in mossflower Argyle was the first of seven children and as such he was given the huge responsibility of representing the clan and village in deed and voice. But his carefree attitude infuriated his father. As did the lack of care for clan politics and customs he would always say “Yer gonna be da voice of Maclintok when I be dead act like ah man dammit!” But Argyle would always nod then drift back into his imagination. The one skill his father could truly be proud of however was his son’s swordplay. Argyle had quickly beaten all the other children and adults in the village by the age of 19, and this was a source of great pride for his father. Until he himself was beaten then that pride turned into a festering green monster that would plague him for the rest of his days. Now by this time spring had come and that meant raids by the local vermin population, during this time all the clans banded together to stop the threat. And it had worked well for many seasons, however this season was different. A Stoat and powerful War Chief in his own right by the name of Gwar Grinpaw had assembled a powerful gang of beasts for the sole purpose of wiping the village off the face of mossflower. The fighting was fierce and bloody, but in the end the hares were victorious and Gwar’s Gang was driven off. This was not without price however almost half of the male hares of the village lay dead including Argyle’s father. The responsibility of his siblings and mother, as well as the whole clan was suddenly on Argyle’s shoulders. He coped the best he could but all he succeeded in doing was smothering his siblings in a blanket of his own self doubt, and they grew to resent him for it. The Clan and Village also began to turn against him as they quickly understood that he was not mature enough to handle such a burden. Many nights he was begged by his mother to step down gracefully and allow someone who had more understanding to take his place. And many nights he stubbornly refused her advice. It finally reached the braking point when he asked for the hand of Sima Bontien a local hare maid who he had fallen in love with. Her father outright denied him saying he would not give his only daughter to such a ignorant and selfish beast Village leader or not. Argyle in his anger drew blades on the Hare which resulted in his expulsion from the village and the stripping of his position. He took his fathers swords a knife and enough food and water for a week and left. With the promise he would return and “they would all see.” Over time he grew to understand that he was incapable of providing for his family and clan without the foresight necessary to see his own faults. To this end he traveled, even when asked to return he calmly turned down the offer saying “I am not ready.” He came upon Redwall Abbey in his travels and has so far been unable to leave, feeling some kind of draw to it. Like he is needed there and to leave would be the death of all who called it home. For this reason he remains, waiting for some sign some reason of his true purpose in life.
