History: Born and raised in a Juska Clan, Blade was raised around fighting and death. When he was born, he was said to be a sacred warrior, but that prophesy would soon change. Blade was marked with Juska Tattoos from when he was first born and was treated with care, and was protected by the leader of the Juska, because Blade was thought to be a sacred warrior. Blade was taught how to fight, and has specialized in Archery. As Blade grew older, he was still treated like royalty... Until another fox came. This fox looked exactly like Blade and would soon turn out to be his twin brother, Jakk. When Jakk strode into camp one day, he greeted his brother as some ordinary Juska beast, because like Blade, Jakk didn't know he had a brother. As Jakk strode into the Juska Leader's camp, the vixen seer jumped up and pointed frantically at Jakk. "he's the one! The sacred beast! The one known to be a warrior!" The Leader looked puzzzled, because he thought Blade was the sacred warrior. Soon figuring out the seer's huge mistake, the leader killed her, leaving her in a pool of her own blood. He explained everything to Blade and Blade, frankly, didn't care. From then on, Blade was treated regularly and his brother, Jakk, was treated like royalty. When Blade was around 16-17, he was told to kill an outcast. A deserter of the Juska. Blade just stared at the leader as he was pushed in front of a whimperng rat. "He didn't do anything. I will not kill him." the juska closed in, but were quickly called off by the leader. The leader was actually amused at Blade. Then he smacked Blade and yelled at him to follow out orders. Blade grabbed his bow and a single, black fletched arrow and stood behind the rat, pulling the bow taut. Blade aimed at the back of the neck of the rat, then aimed upwards and released his hold. The arrow thudded into the leader's skull, right between the eye. Blade grabbed the rat and threw him towards freedom: Mossflower Woods. Two more beasts fell dead from an arrow before Blade escaped. He drew the juska's attention away from the rat, so that the rat could escape. When Blade felt he was really safe, he slowed his pace down and hid. Minutes later, angry Juska beasts charged by his hiding place, hoping to find Blade. Blade came out of hiding and ran the opposite way, hoping to find Redwall. He soon did, and when he was brought in, he was treated like royalty; The thing Blade hated most. One night, a mouse fell off of the abbey ramparts, and Blade charged over to where he was standing. Looking down, Blade saw the limp form of the mouse on the ground. As more beasts came to the scene, they immediately blame Blade because he was a fox. The badger mother slammed her paw into Blade, knocking him off of the the ramparts and onto the ground. There was a resounding crack as he landed awkwardly on his shoulder. The badger mother shouted down to him, "One day before I finish what I started." Some of the Redwallers talked to the badgermum and told her she falsely accused Blade, and the badger mother shouldn;t have done what she did. She was punished for knocking Blade off the ramparts. Blade crawled away into Mossflower wood, nursing his limp arm. He soon came upon a hut in the middle of no-where. Blade tried the door and it opened after a few turns. Forced turns. Blade strode in and layed down on the bed, not caring who owned the hut; he just wanted to rest. The following morning, Blade woke up and his shirt was off of him, and his shoulder was bandaged. He groaned slightly at the pain and turned to see a fox like himself, only female. She had treated his shoulder while Blade lay sleeping. getting up off the bed, Blade threw on his shirt and grabbed his possessions and walked out after thanking the fox vixen.
Blade has been wandering Mossflower ever since.
