Name: Brittany Sharpspike
Age: 12, soon to be 13 seasons
Gender: Female
Species: Hedgehog
Marital Status: Too young, so we'll go with single
Position and Home: No position, and home is considered to be Redwall Abbey.
Strengths:
"Mature" For Her Age~Many beasts have said that Brittany's a good bit "older-minded". While other beasts of her age are usualy out playing, the young hedgehog is found writing or carrying a conversation with the elder inhabitants of the Abbey. She may also spend time drawing if the right materials are nearby, and she used to carry around a small notebook, but soon grew bored of the idea of carrying it around everywhere.
Eager Outdoorsbeast~Brittany likes exploring. Alot. She likes being outside, and will often stay in the orchard when drawing, writing, or even reading sometimes. Other times, she will try to beg to be able to go out into Mossflower...But only if the adventure doesn't bring her too far from home.
Weaknesses:
Anxiety Disorder~Despite her young age, Brittany suffers from an anxiety disorder, which can be a horrible weakness, depending on the situation. If too many vermin, deaths, or any other type of "evil" thing has anything to with anything, she'll act like she's completely mad. Varying from the situation of the "evil" thing, her mood can range from slightly paranoid, to completely insane, in which she usualy sobs uncontrollably, and curls into a ball in some corner or another.
Fear of Healers~For some unknown reason, the young 'hog's always disliked any form of healer. She often acts snappy and smart-alecy around them, and this often results in a well-earned smack to the forehead.
Not the Most Active Beast~Brittany is not a very fast runner, and gets tired easily when doing any active work. She has been called lazy before, and it is quite hard to persuade her into running a few laps around the Abbey.
Nearsighted~Brittany is nearsighted, meaning that she can only see things close to her. Things that are a few inches away from her and farther are rather blurry without the aid of a pair of crude glasses, and even then, she has to take them off to draw or write.
Fierce Temper~For one so young, the young hedgehog has a horrible temper, and it has landed her in trouble more than once, both with other Abbey children, and with adults. Known to send cutting remarks back to those who she thinks have insulted her, and casting dark glares at those she's annoyed with, sometimes, it makes one wonder if she's realy destined to be a good-hearted woodlander.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Appearance: Your typical hedgehog, mostly. Standing a bit smaller than others at four feet and nine inches, she's not a very frightening creature. A bit of spare baby fat around her middle and stomach, which she proudly calls her "store of vittles". Headspikes are usualy either standing straight up, or sticking out at odd angles. Crude glasses rest on her snout, and she is usualy seen clothed in a dark green tunic, with navy-blue, with brown-patches, leggings. She will either be seen wearing sandals or boots, depending on the climate and weather.
Personality: It varies. Depending on her mood, Brittany can either be a joking, playful young hedgehog, or she can be a smart-alecy, rude child. Most of the time, however, she hides both of these traits by being quiet, and spending time with the eldery and adult members of the Abbey, helping where she can when bored.
History: She was born to two normal Hedgehogs in a small camp in Mossflower Woods. The camp was located about a day's walk away from Redwall Abbey, and Brittany spent the first three seasons of her life in the small camp. The small family soon after decided to move to Redwall Abbey, and, after getting there safely, took up residence there. As the young hedgehog matured, many noticed that she seemed to take a liking to writing, reading, and drawing, as well as having nearly nothing to do with the other Abbey children. She would spend her time with the elders and adults, sharing her writings with them, and amusing them by acting out scenes from fiction books. And so she has continued to do so to this day, being the sarcastic, fun-loving, and secretly quiet maid she has been for seasons.
