Name: Luminor Duskfang
Age: 28 (In his prime)
Gender: Male
Species: Fox
Marital Status: Single. Luminor hopes for a bride one day, though.
Position and Home: It is unknown what exactly his true occupation is, or was, but it seems that currently he just wanders around. Sometimes, one might catch a glimpse of him defending himself from vermin or other creatures.
Strengths: He is a nightmare to fight against. His life in the western lands have sharpened his mind and made him very, very tough.
Weaknesses: He can be impatient. Luminor always had a problem with waiting. He also can be a bit narrow-minded.
Alignment: Good
Appearance: Luminor is very fit. He exercises every morning and makes sure to challenge himself every time. Duskfang has acquired an ideal physique from his many years of training his body. He is very strong and agile.
Luminor has a distinct look to his face. He is mildly handsome but with a seemingly permanent dark look to his features. This is just the natural shape of his face, but it is somewhat intimidating none the less. Luminor has dark-green eyes that he uses to cut into the minds of others'. His eyes aren't very sharp or glaring, but he knows how to use them.
Duskfang possesses a beautiful claymore made from rare black metals accented with golden designs here and there. Luminor wears a priceless golden amulet obtained by unknown means. Besides those two possessions and the clothes on his back, he doesn't really have anything.
Luminor has a tattoo of some unknown mythical beast on his right forearm. He has no scars, however.
Duskfang wears a black collared shirt and black pants. He also has a gray bandanna running around his head.
Personality: Vermin mistaken Luminor for a goodbeast, and goodbeasts mistaken him for a vermin. While he may sometimes see cold or bad on the surface, he is good at heart. He is simply a survivor. However, he is not without values. He hates to see other creatures suffering, and is always ready to lend a hand to other creatures, unless he believes that they deserve it.
Duskfang seems as though he would be a mean, cold beast, but in fact, he can be very warm and caring. The reason for his first impressions is that he trusts no one. He always sizes a creature up before trusting them. He generally isn't cold or mean to anyone, but he is a master of perception and can manipulate others' feelings. Lunimor's true personality is respectful and slow to anger, and that is how he acts most of the time.
History: There are theories about where Luminor Duskfang came from. Some say he is an ex-general in some vermin warlord's army. Others says that he is a warlord himself, scouting out Mossflower for potential raiding spots.
In actuality, he is came form the far west seeking new life. His previous one was full of killing and murder. He was usually not the one doing the murdering, but he certainly saw (and experienced) his share of killing.
Luminor was always much different from the vermin in the west. They all murdered for profit and pleasure, but he never felt any pleasure in any of the slaying. Instead, he fought to survive. If that meant killing a beast that may kill him in the future, then that's what would happen. In Luminor's eyes, all the vermin were evil. All of them desired to kill him for some reason, usually to take his sword or amulet, and sometimes just for fun. But he survived. And eventually, he escaped.
Luminor heard legends of the golden lands of Mosslfower while still in the cursed west. He decided to see for himself if these lands were truly beautiful and peaceful.
The primary reason for Duskfang to travel to Mossflower is to hopefully find peace. He is tired of killing to prevent himself form being killed. Luminor desires redemption for his past life, though he was more of a victim of it.
One day, Luminor managed to join a band of cutthroats that were making their way to Mossflower. He convinced them that he was going to help them raid and sack the land beyond their horizon. They let him sail with them to Mossflower country. After the long and dangerous journey to the golden lands, Duskfang had enough of the evil vermin and couldn't stand them any longer. He came to the conclusion that the vermin wouldn't do any good in Mossflower, as they came to destroy... so he slew all of them.
It wouldn't be the last time he shared company with vermin, but he certainly would never kill with them any longer.
The bands of evil vermin Luminor occasionally travels with usually wind up dead after he's finished with them.
