This is rather important, and I would appreciate some replies as soon as possible.
Although I'm sure some of you might want to make it a big surprise as to which of your characters are escaping Redwall or not, but if it isn't too much, I do ask that you spoil it for us all. I would just like to clear up any confusion before the end of the Fall (by which, I mean the thread titled "Fall"). You see, I've all ready planned out what I intend to do with my characters, but I don't want to get in the way of anyone else. Remember, the goal is to make the plot as good as we can, which will require much discussion. Right now, we need to make sure a realistic number of beasts escape the abbey.
So, to skip straight to the point: Which characters should escape the abbey, and which should not? Let the discussion begin!
As for my plans, I know that Lachie will most certainly not escape the Abbey. Barr and Blake, however, should escape the Abbey, in my opinion. I don't think there's any question as to Barr leaving, since he is the Abbey Warrior, but I'm willing to discuss whether or not Blake should. I would like to have Tirael remain at the abbey, considering he'd make a good friend of Lachie's (they are both the same age), though he is Lachie's virtual opposite. What d'you think?
Discussion is very welcome. As a matter of fact, it is encouraged.

I am honestly thinking of joing 'fall' with my rat,Weghul. My planned role for him is to stay behind at the abbey. He'll try to use his status as 'vermin' to earn a spot of safety where he wont be enslaved. He may be amnesiac, but he is still very coniving and wants to survive at all costs

What I'm wondering is what will the creatures be doing inside the abbey, and what will those outside be doing?

Well, those left behind will be enslaved, and those outside will work to take Redwall back. Oh, and maybe do something about those slaves, too. Tir can stay and be Lachie's slave-buddy, although I'm guessing he'll have plenty of healer-ing work to do as well.

I was planning on having Bryric stay though he can go if you want. I'm ok either way.

Same with me. I was planning to stay as well, and try to think of ways the slaves can escape without gathering to much attention. But as Bryic said, I can work with either way.

Well, those left behind will be enslaved, and those outside will work to take Redwall back. Oh, and maybe do something about those slaves, too. What he said, Nari. Yeah, we'll have some characters leave the abbey, and try to ally with as many non-vermin groups as they can. Id est, Southsward, Loamhedge (if we find any there), Salamandastron (which won't be able to help due to the previous attack), Green Isle, Ruddaring (they'll come to us, more or less), and Noonvale. We might bring in some eagles from the northern mountains. WHICH REMINDS ME! (excuse the all-caps) We will most certainly need some canon positions filled, namely the Squirrelking/queen for Castle Floret (in Southsward). Of course, we'll need other positions filled later on, but to begin with, we need a Squirrel monarch.
Oh, and if we can get at least eight vermin characters for the Glassmaker, that would really be appreciated. I'll make one myself if need be. I'd like to have him send a party after the escaped Redwallers.Moving on, It seems we all want to stay at the abbey, which is quite the opposite of what I had expected ;D. Shows how much I know. Anyway, I suppose we'll just set the goal at four. We need four characters to escape the Abbey, at least. - Barr Stromness
- Blake Enslin
It looks like it's only my two characters so far. Rocky and Rak haven't posted here yet, though, so no worry just yet.
. . . Man, I just go on, and on, and on, and on. . .

I have a squirrel charrie from my other sites. He was fourth in line, but I can bump 'im up a bit in the royal family if we need a king.

Are you absolutely positve that all beasts remaining in the abbey have to be slaves? Cannot Weghul(my rat charrie) attempt to strike some sort of 'deal'?

Well, since he is a rat, I see no reason why he couldn't. Makes the situation more interesting, don't it?

Well, of course he can, Dirge. Even Lachie's going to try to win over the Glassmaker's approval -- you'll find out later on.

well I was thinking that perhaps Argyle would escape but lose his arm in a fight with my vermin app Balash before he does. Then Balash will be a part of the hunting party, as well. I was also thinking that if anyone is looking to adopt some beasts there are a few available. I leave the foremole Bertrum for everyone to play and I think even the Sparra king. Just to make it easyer on me lol.

Weeeell...
I suppose I could escape. Now that I think about it, I don't really have any good ideas for if I was captured. But again, I can work with the flow either way.

Well, the slaves'll have plenty to do besides being abused and serving their captors. On another site I'm on, the plot involved a conquered Redwall with slaves. On their down time, slaves can think up ways to escape or reduce the amount of vermin bit by bit. They can get creative. And as y'all can see, I've brought my squirrel over. After some modifications, he should make an excellent-ish king.

Good point. I'll just see what happens then. My mind works in ridiculously mysterious ways.
