Every site has rules. Follow these or face my wrath. I’m generally a pretty nice person, but I’m not the only one on staff who can ban you, so some of the other staff might not be so forgiving.

And last but not least, go have fun!
Basic Site Rules
- I am admin. My word is law. And also, respect ALL staff. If you have a problem with one of the staff members, you can take it up with me. If you have a problem with me, you can take it up with Rocky, Skipper, or Rakingclaw.
- Do not give out nor ask for personal information. This means addresses, full names, phone numbers. Don't do it.
- No nudity or profane posting, whether in the roleplays, in the cbox, in the general board. I don't even want to see a link anywhere on your profile that leads to a porno website. This has happened before and someone tried to convince me it was okay. No, it's not okay. If you break this rule it's an automatic ban that will probably be permanent.
- No violent images. Don't make me take away the power to post images in your signatures and choose your own avatars. I will if you put blood, guts, and gore on there.
- Do NOT troll; You all know what a troll is, right? Would you like to talk to a troll? No, I didn't think so. Trolling is basically acting stupid on purpose. Don't do it.
- Do not insult others: This isn't very hard to understand or follow. Appreciate others feelings. Just be nice in general, and be accepting towards them and their views. Do not be discriminating in any way--religiously, politically, racially, etc. Learn to respect people, whether or not you agree with them.
- Do NOT swear in the cbox or OoC (Out of Character). In other words, don’t swear at other people. If you’re roleplaying your character swearing, then read on for rules regarding that. But regarding your fellow roleplayers, do not swear at them or around them.
“But I have freedom of speech!” you whine.
Yes, you do have freedom of speech. But freedom of speech means that you have the freedom to say what you want, you do not have the freedom to make people listen, and therefore do not have the freedom to make us listen to your diarrhea of the mouth on this site. In the same way, you could not, for example, go to the White House and make a speech about how we should all wear blue shirts. And you can not come on this site and swear at us. If you want to swear, go do it in your room or at school or on the street. NOT ON HERE! Not allowed, understand? If you do it, I’ll give you a warning. If you do it again, I’ll give you a second warning. If you’re a jerk about it, I’m banning you, end of story. - Do not spam—in other words, do not say the same thing ten times over or say pointless trash in a thread.
- No fighting in the Cbox. If you're fighting, take it to PM so others can enjoy the Cbox.
- Don’t advertise in the Cbox or on any part of the site other than in the advertising board. That’s why we have that board. If you fail to follow this rule, you get banned, banned, banned, no questions asked. Seriously. I’m sick of getting spam-bot WoWposters and anything like it.
- Don’t harass other members, don’t annoy me too much, don’t purposely break the rules repetitively, or I'll hit you over the head with a stick. Good? Good.
Roleplaying Rules
- NO God-Moding or Powerplaying; Your characters are NOT invincible. I don't care if they're the king of an empire, or leader of a fighters guild, everyone gets hit sometime. Powerplaying is when you play someone else's character without their position. You will not get away with it, I promise you that.
- Romance Rule: We don't want to hear anything about what they did in detail. Kissing and hugging can all be explained. Other than that, NO! This isn't an adult site! If you HAVE to satisfy some sick urge of yours, then do it in PMs, because if I see it on here, you’re banned, no questions asked.
- If your characters swear in the threads, that’s fine, so long as you bleep out the vowels. For example: D*mn, Sh*t, B*tch, etc. You can say “Hell” without bleeping it. However, I do not want to see any form, whether bleeped or not, of the F word. You’ll regret using it, trust me. You can try it if you want, but I'll just laugh at your epic fails.
- Killing Characters: You can not kill another character unless you have their player's permission. But people, don’t be stupid about this rule. Don’t purposely make your character do stupid things and then claim that they can’t die because you don’t want them to die. Your character must also exercise common sense. Either that or they must have outstanding ninja skills for dodging and running like heck, which would be godmodding.
- I don't want to see excessive violence. Blood is okay, bones is okay, but let's not see guts spilling on the floor and spines sticking out of bodies or eyes melting. That's just sick.
- Try to use correct spelling and grammar while posting in character. A few mistakes are fine, I don’t care, but the other role-players need to be able to understand it. Also, make sure you post in third-person. If you don't know what that is, look it up on google.
- As more of a guideline, try to make reasonably long posts, two to three sentences minimum. Short posts are boring and don’t give anyone anything to go off of.
- One more guideline and then we can move on! If you’re bored I don’t want you going depressed on me. I guarantee you that if you keep an eye out for a while then you’ll see someone else who is bored too and you can start up a thread with them. But be patient. VERY patient. Oh, and uh...if you're suicidal, I don't mind you joining the site, and I'd love to help you. But please, for the sake of my sanity, get yourself some anti-depression pills first.
Making a Character:
- Use the template for making characters. It’s in the application board.
- You can post images of your characters in the bios. Do NOT post violent images or porno images. This includes images of females with extremely large breasts popping out of their shirts. If I wanted to see that crap, I'd be looking it up on deviantart. Don't show it on here.
- Diversity: Make your characters unique! We don't want the entire site to be composed of neutral vermin, or neutral Mossflower inhabitants. Get it? Got it? Good. Do not copy other members's ideas. Oh, and I don’t want to see fifty characters who’ve all been widowed by horrible vermin or whatnot. You can’t all have a sad story. But if your character does have a story…go into it. Make it epic.
- Okay...on the topic of making gay and lesbian characters. Don't do it. No, I'm not homophobic, and no, I'm not prejudiced against homosexuals. But I have my reasons for not allowing such characters on this site. If you have a problem with that, PM me and I'll give you my reasons, but they would take three pages to explain here in the rules. So it'd just be easier not to worry about it. It isn't necessary to have such characters so don't make a deal about it.
- The codeword required for the template is: Martin the Warrior
And last but not least, go have fun!
