The squirrel stared at the fox and red panda, eyes narrowed. One of them, she was nearly sure was vermin, the other, she couldn't realy bring herself to trust. Nothing was said as she climbed back up into the tree, glaring at the fox and keeping a paw on one of the daggers in her belt.

Rolling his eyes, Zephyr slightly growled, "How many times must I tell you! I'm not here to hurt you!" He snapped, unintentionally. Then he apologized, "Er, I'm sorry sir, ma'am. But believe me. I am not here to harm you. Now, missie, just take your hand off the hilt. I am not going to put harm to innocent beasts."
~~~
((Ah, now I feel bad about Redpoint. =P))
Vorai stood up, satisfied. Then he turned, just as the stone was loaded, and unexpectingly, the sling nailed Vorai in the side of the head, striking him like a thunderbolt, and knocking him clean out. Vorai fell to the ground, unconscious his body draping over that of Redpoint's.
((Yo, SKip, you can post about the otter carrying Vorai to Skipper of Otters. Powerplay Vorai awaking if you want. It's up to you.))
~~~
"Alright, mate." Rocky said. Then he slightly noticed Skip was uncomfortable about something. Walking over to him, Rocky grabbed Skipper's arm and draped it over Rocky's own shoulder, trying to cheer up Skipper, "Alright mate, if you fall down unconscious or something, I don'tthnk I can lead cuz lesse, the otters'll probably mutiny me." Wasn't one of Rocky's best 'jokes', but he had wanted to cheer up Skipper somehow.
"Are you alright, Skip?" Meko asked, not objecting to the concern in his voice.

"It is alright young Risu, I sense no evil in the Kitsune called Blade. If it pleases you would you come down and join us?" Nodrah bowed to the squirrel maid and put his straw hat on his chest as he did so. "Can I ask Kitsune Blade what is to be found in this forest?" Nodrah asked the fox his black eyes shining inquisitively.

((Sorry for keeping you waiting so consistently with my posts. If time would allow, I would post more frequently, but unfortunately, playing pretend over the internet does not constitute laziness, and I am therefore subject to the inconvenient rules of a thing called life. )) Not two moments after Vorai crumpled into a senseless heap, Chab was carrying both creatures, moving in the direction of Camp Willow. He knew that Skipper would already be inside when he reached the place, and was confident that Vorai would not awaken, if the fox was alive at all -- he hadn't bothered to check. In fact, he allowed no time for thought concerning anything whatsoever, other than finding Camp Willow. He couldn't risk feeling the impact of Redpoint's death until Vorai was either dead, restrained, or gone -- whatever this option may entail. Chab wasn't a very large otter, having been used mainly for tracking, and not fighting (though this had almost never been a necessary resort for the crew) and was already growing weary from carrying two full-grown beasts. The heavier was Redpoint, whose form was no less than twice as strong as Chab's. Regardless, the tracker walked steadily on.
Shaking his head in familiarity and a particular, learned apathy for the inconvenience. "Aye, Ah'll be aliraeght, 'tisnae anehthin' new," he said in an unconcerned tone. His condition was one that he had lived with for much of his life, and he had become less affected by it as his seasons progressed. That which made this case more significant was the fact that it might delay longer yet the more important of otter traditions. The Guosim didn't fare too well in a closed space with nothing to do... ((I am now simply wasting time, for the most part, so whenever you three feel like meeting the crew, go ahead and post their arrival. )

((Where did everyone go? Are we going to just leave this thread to die while I split infinitives?))

Rocky ane Meko mused at the fact that they were going to see Camp Willow. "Ye've probably been asked this before, mate, but how much longer we have till we get ta Camp Willow?"

OOC: I was going to post here, but I don't know when Trista and Rak will return, so maybe we should just leave this thread alone, and come back to it whenever they're back. We can just have our characters remember back to the meeting until this thread is finished. All that was going to be announced is that a massive army is moving into Mossflower. Chab would have brought the fox back to Camp Willow, bound him to a tree, entered, and told Skipper that he had a prisoner. I suppose the fox could have escaped before they returned. And we could just go from there (in other threads, of course). I don't know. What d'you think?
